Join Red Wing Downtown Main Street and the Historic Preservation Commission for the City of Red Wing, and the Port Authority of Red Wing to learn best practices for great facade, signage and awnings in historic downtowns.


Joe Lawniczak, Downtown Design Specialist for the Wisconsin Main Street Program will present an hour-long presentation on downtown design principles and examples. You'll see good, bad, and ugly examples of design in downtowns!

This session is for you if you:

  • are a history buff
  • own a business
  • love downtown
  • serve on a board or commission for the City
  • own property downtown

The event is FREE and open to the public. A light lunch will be provided so please RSVP by March 15th.
